While my early career led me into banking and then Local Government, everything shifted in 2019 with the arrival of our first daughter. I bought a camera to document her early years, and that quiet personal project soon blossomed into something more. Requests from family and friends followed, and by the end of that year, I had started the little photography business that has since become my biggest passion.
What I love most about this work is the people. I’ve been lucky enough to meet so many wonderful souls from all walks of life, and it’s a privilege to document their stories; whether it’s a family portrait in a paddock, or the tender, joyful chaos of a wedding day.
Country weddings hold a very special place in my heart. There’s something truly unique about celebrating love on the land; whether it’s a ceremony beneath a big open sky, in an old timber hall, or in the heart of a family property passed down through generations. These weddings are grounded in connection: to place, to people, to story. They’re warm, soulful, and deeply personal; and I’m always honoured to be part of them.
Now based in Moranbah, Central Queensland, I travel near and far to photograph weddings and life’s most meaningful milestones. My approach is honest and heartfelt, always aiming to capture the fleeting moments that make your story truly yours. I work in a documentary style; natural, raw, and timeless; so when you look back on your photos, you’ll not only see what your day looked like, but feel what it felt like too.
If you feel a connection to my work and story, I’d truly love to hear from you.

About B.
My story begins on a cane farm in Proserpine, where I grew up with sun drenched afternoons, dirt roads, and a strong connection to the land that raised me. Long before I ever held a “real” camera in my hands, I was creating weddings with Barbie and Ken beneath an old chamberlain that had seen better days; dressing them in paper gowns and lace scraps, completely enchanted by the idea of love and celebration. That’s where my love affair with weddings truly began.
My first camera was a pink film one with a yellow caterpillar; gifted to me by my Mother. From the moment I started taking photos of our animals and machinery on the farm, something just clicked. There was a quiet magic in being able to freeze a moment, and I found joy in capturing the everyday beauty that surrounded me. Over the years, I became the one capturing weekends with friends, sticking polaroids into scrapbooks and filing away memories like little treasures. I’ve always been sentimental at heart, and I truly believe photographs are the most powerful keepsakes we have. They hold not only memories, but emotion; and only grow more valuable with time.
